Living Without Waste: Bea Johnson's Tips for a Zero-Waste Home

Eventbrite_FB_Image.jpg

Zero Waste Chicago and Shedd Aquarium, along with other local organizations, are working locally to inspire, empower and equip individuals, communities and businesses to cut down on the amount of waste they are sending to the landfill. On April 16, Zero Waste Chicago and Shedd Aquarium are coming together to host Bea Johnson of Zero Waste Home– author, speaker and advocate of waste-free living. Through Bea’s presentation, a panel discussion, and an “action expo” of local organizations and businesses, this event will inspire and educate individuals who are interested in reducing their landfill waste.

Light snacks will be available on compostable plates, but to avoid even more waste feel free to bring a small plate or container from home for snacks, as well as a reusable water bottle.

The event is free and open to all, but spaces are limited so you must register in advance to attend; you can grab your free ticket here and view the full program and schedule of events here.
