Zero Waste Chicago meet-up: Book Club!

Zero Waste Chicago November 2017 community meet-up

For our November community meet-up, we hope you'll join us for our inaugural book club meeting! In collaboration with local chef Amanda of Baguette & Butter, we will be meeting to discuss Michael Pollan's Food Rules together. The book offers short, helpful guidelines for incorporating more "real food" into our daily routines, and in our discussion we will chat about everything from seasonal foods to food waste and more.

If you'd like to read the book prior to our meet-up, note that the Chicago Public Library system has many copies, both physical and digital. And, of course, you're also welcome to join us even if you haven't read the book - the discussion will be structured so that everyone can participate.

We'll be hosting the event at the Harold Washington Library, 400 State Street, from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, November 12. Come find us in the Authors Room on the seventh floor. Please feel free to bring yourself and any friends or family whom you think would be interested! The event is free, and all are welcome.
